Kamahl, Pit Fighter et Jeska, Warrior Adept sont frère et sœur. À l'époque de l'édition Judgment, Kamahl alla dans la forêt de la Krosia et y devint un druide puissant, Kamahl, Fist of Krosa. Mais, sous l'influence du Mirari qui continuait à renforcer et déverser son pouvoir bien qu'enterré dans la forêt, Kamahl finit par blesser grièvement sa sœur.
Il l'amena dans la forêt pour la soigner, mais elle fut capturée par Braids, Cabal Minion. Cette dernière soigna Jeska grâce à la magie noire mais la transforma en Phage the Untouchable : une sangrahbaire vicieuse qui a le pouvoir de faire pourrir la matière organique par son toucher, de manière similaire au Cabal Patriarch.

Les cinq cartes Catapult Master, Supreme Inquisitor, Gravespawn Sovereign, Skirk Fire Marshal et Voice of the Woods, de l'édition Onslaught, forment un cycle, chacune représentant un "Lord" (voir cette anecdote) qui en engageant cinq créatures de sa tribu respective (Soldier, Wizard, Zombie, Goblin et Elf), permet d'obtenir un effet "puissant".
La carte Ancestor's Prophet partage les mêmes caractéristiques à l'exception du coût de mana, ne faisant figurer qu'un seul mana coloré au lieu de deux.

La carte Kokusho, the Evening Star, de l'édition Champions of Kamigawa comporte une "anomalie" de texte dans sa version française.
Dans sa boîte de texte, elle est appelée "Koshuko, l'étoile du soir" au lieu de "Kokusho, l'étoile du soir".
