Mirri, Cat Warrior, de l'édition Exodus, était initialement prévue pour être une 2/2, Initiative, Vigilance, Traversée des forêts, Protection contre le noir. Mais, dans la Storyline, Mirri est tuée par Crovax the Cursed, qui est une créature noire.
Pour concilier les deux, Mirri s'est finalement vue retirer la Protection contre le noir. En compensation, elle a reçu un point d'endurance supplémentaire.

In the end, we changed protection from black to “cannot be the target of spells or abilities”. But then in typesetting the card proved to be too long so we had to trade untargetability for a third point of toughness.")
